This document includes information regarding the personal data collected by SC MRC Tuning Unlimited SRL (hereinafter referred to as MRC Tuning Romania), as Data Operator of the personal data which you (as Data Subject) provide to us.

1. Collected information

The data collecting and processing activities are governed by the Data Protection Act.

SC MRC Tuning Unlimited SRL acts as Controller of the personal data which you (as Data Subject) provide to us.

MRC Tuning Romania collects the following information:

First and last name, addresses, phone number, e-mail address, IP address, behavior on the mrctuning.ro website, your interests.

2. Why we need this data

We require this data in order to provide the following services:

• First and last name, address and phone number in order to invoice and deliver your ordered products and services.
• E-mail address and phone number in order to keep you updated regarding the status of your appointment, technical support and the delivery of the electronic data resulting on your visit to us.
• mrctuning.ro collects demographic information, such as: your zip code, age, gender, interests, in order to personalize the messages sent to you and/or the content of the mrctuning.ro website, in order to increase the relevancy of the commercial messages by grouping them by demographical criteria and preferences.
• Direct information regarding the visited pages and the actions carried out on the MRC Tuning Romania website, through the browser’s session information and cookies, including information such as:
  • source page from which the site visit originated
  • IP address of the visitor
  • various actions performed on the page (add to favorites, voting et cetera) and their result
  • comments published on websites
  • information provided through the forms on the webpages
  • search terms used on websites

3. How we use this information

Your data is collected by SC MRC Tuning Unlimited SRL, with its registered office in Str. MR. ION G. RACOTEANU 10, CAMERA 2, BIROUL 4, Etaj 1, Ap. 2, Bucuresti, Sector 3, 030891, represented by Eugen-Cezar Ciobanu.

Data storage is performed in Romania, at one of our registered or secondary offices or at our endorsed providers, based on services agreements.

We may submit personal data to the public authorities or institutions according to the legal provisions or good faith if:

• it is provided under the law;
• it safeguards the rights of the mrctuning.ro company or its affiliates;
• it prevents a crime or safeguards the national safety;
• it safeguards the safety of the individual or the public safety;
• this information is necessary to resolve various situations:
  • in case that your activities don’t comply with the mrctuning.ro terms and conditions or the instructions for the utilization of certain products and services;
  • in case that mrctuning.ro merges or is acquired entirely or partially by another company, and the database is transferred to the new operator;
  • in case mrctuning.ro becomes uncreditworthy, voluntarily or non-voluntarily, by liquidator, director or buyer, the database can be sold, authorized, transferred only with the court endorsement. In case that the priorly mentioned situations arise, you will be notified by e-mail or by an announcement on the mrctuning.ro website.

4. How long is the data stored

All personal data held by us will be processed during the period when the services are provided on the mrctuning.ro website or on other websites or platforms held by SC MRC Tuning Unlimited SRL plus another year after the termination of the services’ providing activities.

The termination of the services’ providing activities can be performed:

• At the initiative of MRC Tuning
• At the notice given by the participant regarding the decision to terminate its participation to the program

At the expiration of the previously mentioned term, all personal data will be irremediably erased (except for those necessary for various tax duties or other legal obligations), while the non-personal data which cannot be used to identify the participant will be used, solely, as statistical data, used grouped, for strategic purposes.

5. What are your rights?

If, at any moment, the participant considers that any personal data which MRC Tuning Romania holds is incorrect or incomplete, he has the possibility to request to see, correct or erase this information. For this purpose, please contact us by email at contact@mrctuning.ro.

In case you wish to elaborate a complaint regarding the way in which your personal data was handled, please contact us by e-mail at contact@mrctuning.ro. A representative will investigate the complaint and contact you in order to amend the reported issue.

If you consider, still, that your personal data was incorrectly handled, according to the regulations, you may contact the National Supervisory Authority For Personal Data Processing and you may register a complaint.
